While students were away on Monday, UL teachers participated in hands-on workshops for a little 4D Learning themselves!
The first activity focused on Maker Ed and Iterative Design. These topics were followed by a session on a framework for evaluating opportunities for technology integration to extend learning in a 1:1 environment.
Our wonderful guest facilitators applauded Galloway teachers for jumping in to both activities and discussions, making for lively learning. Kathy Shields, tech coordinator, designed this learning opportunity as part of a 24-hour professional learning initiative to prepare UL teachers for the upcoming challenges of UTAP, our 1:1 laptop initiative.
